Lucknow Super Giants head coach Justin Langer seems to be enjoying his time in India. The team got a five-day break after their last match against Gujarat Titans. In their next assignment of this Indian Premier League (IPL) season, LSG will host Delhi Capitals at the Ekana Sports City on April 12.

The Kl Rahul-led unit, accompanied by its coaching staff, has already arrived in Lucknow to prepare for the home game. Taking out time from his work commitments, Langer went to explore the city along with the team management. On his way, the former Australian cricketer had a heartwarming encounter with some local people.

In a video that is going viral on social media, Langer can be seen smilingly interacting with some children.

Langer even pulled out some hand gestures to make the children happy and waved at them. The 53-year-old made sure to say goodbye to them before leaving the place.

In another video, Langer was asked to pick a player whom he would like to sign at the upcoming mega auction.

The Aussie immediately played the UNO reverse and instead directed the question to the hosts who took Rohit Sharma’s name.

In response, Langer smilingly said, “We are going to get him from Mumbai? Then you better be the negotiator. Because I can’t see how that’s going to happen.”

Langer, who has previously served as the coach of the Australian national team, joined LSG in July last year. LSG have endured a single defeat in their four appearances this season and are currently third in the IPL 2024 standings.
