RCB will be hoping for a significant contribution from their in-form batter Virat Kohli in a do-or-die clash with CSK tonight.

A cracker of a contest is lined up for Saturday in IPL 2024 as reigning champions Chennai Super Kings take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

The highly anticipated IPL 2024 fixture between RCB and CSK is scheduled to be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru with playoff spot on the line.

The post focused on some of Kohli’s scintillating performances on May 18 in the history of the IPL.

in May 18, 2023, also against CSK, Kohli had played a fine knock of unbeaten 57 off 29 balls.

And on the same date in 2016, he peeled off an epic knock of 113 off 50 balls against Punjab Kings.

Another person felt that, “Today is special day King Kohli.”

One X user optimistically commented that Virat Kohli will “score like 60+.”

Echoing a similar sentiment, this person wrote, “Kohli Bhai will hit the century today and RCB will win and even qualify.”

RCB head into tonight’s contest having won once in their last five meetings with five-time champions CSK.

Having claimed five victories on the trot, the Faf du Plessis-led franchise will now be determined to change the outcome this time around.

In order to qualify for the next round, RCB will have to win tonight by a healthy margin. They will have to win by 18 runs or chase a target down with about 11 balls remaining.
