The English batting unit once again failed to showcase their A-game in the third Test in Rajkot. Riding on centuries by captain Rohit Sharma and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, India produced 445 runs in the first innings. In response, England posted 319 runs on the board. Yashasvi Jaiswal was the star for India in their second innings.

The youngster slammed a blazing double-century. Powered by his unbeaten 214, India put up a huge target of 557 runs. Coming to chase, England surrendered early in front of Jadeja, who claimed a five-wicket haul. The visitors were ultimately bundled out for 122 runs.
