Chinese companies CEOs support Narendra Modi's 'Make in India' campaign

New Delhi: On the final leg of his 3-day visit to China, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met CEOs of top Chinese companies in Shanghai on Saturday. Twenty one Memorandum of Understandings have been signed between Indian and Chinese companies.

Representatives from top Chinese companies such as Alibaba, Xiaomi and Huawei attended the meeting.

Extending invitation to Chinese CEOs to participate in 'Make in India' campaign, Modi listed the 5F formula, ""I have come to say to you Make in India. The 5F Formula - From Farm to Fibre to Fabric to Fashion to Foreign!

Alibaba Chairman Jack Ma: We are excited about India. We are excited about Make in India and Digital India.

SANY Chairman Liang Wengen: We are full of hope about India, which offers a dynamic work force and huge market.

Harbin Electric Chairman Zou Lei: Harbin Electric would like to bring more light to India, take advantage of Make in India.

Xiaomi President Lin Bin: We have some big plans for India. We fully support Make in India.
