Bobby Deol hailed Kanguva co-star Suriya during a media interaction on his birthday.

Bobby Deol celebrated his 55th birthday on January 27 and it turned out to be a special day not just for him but also for his fans eagerly awaiting his upcoming movie, Kanguva. The makers surprised everyone by unveiling the first look poster on this occasion. In the poster, Bobby looks ruthless and hungry for power, creating an unforgettable visual. Sporting long, untidy hair and a necklace of bones with blood marks, the actor instantly grabbed attention. Surrounded by people, the actor’s strict expression adds more intrigue. Interestingly, Kanguva marks Bobby’s Tamil debut and his first collaboration with Superstar Suriya. On his birthday, the Class of 83 star engaged with the media and spoke positively about Suriya, the lead star of his upcoming film, describing him as humble and down to earth.

Bobby said, “Working with Suriya, who was so humble and down to earth, itna kamaal ka actor haina woh, stunts khud karta hai and just loved being on that set. Khatam ho gayi hai film, ajaeygi issi saal, date pakka malum nahi hai mujhe lekin, that’s my next release. (He performs his own stunts and I just loved being on that set. The shooting has been completed, it will be released this year. I don’t know the exact date yet, but that’s my next release).”

Further speaking about going through a successful phase, Bobby Deol shared, “I am very nervous right now about what I will do next because I don’t understand what I did in Animal that I’m getting so much love. Definitely, I will never give up, hard work is very essential for every person, every actor, whether they are getting work or not. They all need to work hard, be focused and be humble.”

In addition to Suriya and Bobby, the cast of Kanguva also includes Disha Patani in a key role. The film is written and directed by Siva, who was last associated with Rajinikanth’s film Annaatthe. Meanwhile, Devi Sri Prasad, who made everyone fall in love with his melodies in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa, is handling the music for the upcoming film as well.

Following the success of Animal featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol will be seen in several projects in the South film industry. Alongside making his debut in the Tamil film Kanguva, Bobby is also gearing up for his entry into Tollywood with Balakrishna’s upcoming film, tentatively titled NBK 109. Reports further suggest that the Gupt star is likely to join the cast of Pawan Kalyan’s period Hari Hara Veera Mallu, where he is rumoured to play the role of Aurangzeb.
