To mark the National Pollution Control Day, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Private Ltd, reached out to two-wheeler customers, advocating ways to control pollution. Honda mobilised its entire network of over 4800 sales & service touch-points, Mobile Service Vans (MSVs) to spread the message “Be the Solution to Pollution”.
Fostering education towards environment and reducing carbon footprints, Honda offered free PUC and emission level check-ups for all Honda and Non-Honda vehicles. Customers were educated on the importance of regular vehicle maintenance.
The National Pollution Control Day is celebrated on December 2 in India, to honor thousands of people who lost their lives to Bhopal Gas Tragedy. It is also celebrated to spread awareness among people and industries about paying attention towards the need of adhere to Pollution Control Acts.
To increase reach of the event, Honda put up message banners at prominent locations on a pan India level besides Honda touch points.
