NXT Women’s Champion Lynch teamed up with Valkyria to take on Tiffany Stratton and Kiana James, while NXT World Champion Carmelo Hayes would be facing off against the NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio in a non-title match.

WWE NXT on September 19, 2023, took place at the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida. The latest episode of WWE NXT featured a studded match card that would see NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch team up with Lyra Valkyria to take on Tiffany Stratton and Kiana James. In men’s action, NXT World Champion Carmelo Hayes would be facing off against the NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio in a non-title match. The Global Heritage Invitational also continued with Tyler Bate and Butch renewing their rivalry in Group A while Duke Hudson and Nathan Frazer hoped to pick apart Group B leader Joe Coffey. There were huge stakes on the line with WWE No Mercy approaching soon.

Peter “Butch” Dunne vs Tyler Bate

After some fancy grappling action, Dunne rained forearms on the side of Bate’s head. Bate then recovered and landed a standing shooting star but Butch kicked out before trapping Bate in a triangle. He eventually got countered by Bate who reversed it into an airplane spine to a suplex. With only thirty seconds left in the match, Butch hit the bitter end for a pinfall win.

Joe Coffey vs. Duke Hudson

The match began with back-and-forth headlocks between the duo. Coffey then backed Hudson into a corner with shoulder blocks before landing the Hot Shot. Hudson tried to counter, throwing punches of his own but Coffey bailed to the floor and rammed him into the apron. He then landed a missile dropkick before Hudson’s quick thinking helped him hit a schoolboy for the victory.

Roxanne Perez vs. Lola Vice

Perez took early control in the match with a European Clutch but Vice kicked out. Vice then pushed Perez into the apron before being hard-whipped into the corner of the ring. Perez recovered and hit Vice with Lou Thesz Press. She then bent Vice over the turnbuckles but slipped and hurt her arm. Vice tried to get back into the game but her omplata got countered into a pinning predicament securing a win for Perez.

Carmelo Hayes vs. Dominik Mysterio

The highly-anticipated match between Hayes and Mysterio ultimately led to a no-contest because of in-ring interference from Ilja Dragunov. It was Dominik who caused early trouble by sending Hayes into Dragunov who was at the commentary desk. During the match, he slapped an already angry Drangunov who ran over both men leading to a disqualification.

Nathan Frazer vs. Duke Hudson vs. Joe Coffey

Duke Hudson took early control in the match and threw around his opponents in the initial stages. However, he could not keep up with the speed and power of Frazer and Coffey. Frazer landed a spike Frankensteiner before hitting Hudson with a Phoenix Splash. Coffey then sent Frazer out of the ring and hit Hudson with All the Best for the Bells to win Group B.

Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria vs. Tiffany Stratton and Kiana James

Becky was attacked by Stratton and James during her entrance. Lyra Valkyria came to her partner’s rescue before we finally got a ring of the bell as the brawl continued. After some intense action, Becky landed the Man Handle slam on James. Lyra then took the top rope to hit the Valkyrie’s diving splash to win by pinfall.
