'The Walking Dead' to get its own theme park attraction

Universal Studios Hollywood is bringing "The Walking Dead" to life through a new theme park attraction.

The attraction will open to the public this summer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It will feature zombies from the popular comic and YV show and include participation from the production's director Greg Nicotero.

The attraction will be "located within a custom built structure that will immerse guests within the world of 'The Walking Dead'," actor and producer Chris Hardwick revealed to the publication, focusing on "state-of-the-art special effects and animatronics."
