Kerry urges Pakistan to act tough on terror
The US Secretary of State, John Kerry hoped that the process of talks between Islamabad and New Delhi would continue despite the Pathankot terror incident.

The US Secretary of State, John Kerry on Saturday telephoned Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and asked him to take strong stand on terrorism.

He told him that terrorists are trying to sabotage Pakistan-India peace talks and asked Pakistan to act against the perpetrators. "Pakistan should prevent its soil for terrorism," he reportedly told Sharif.

Kerry hoped that the process of talks between Islamabad and New Delhi would continue despite the Pathankot terror incident.

He said, "The continuation of India-Pakistan talks is in the best interest of regional stability."

Sources said, Sharif assured him that Pakistan will not allow its soil to be used against any country.
