For Indians, jugaad isn’t just a simple term, it’s a mindset that we’ve adopted. Agree? And, social media is filled with videos of people using their unique and out-of-the-box ideas to solve problems. Almost every other day, a new video of jugaad emerges on the internet much to our surprise. Now, a video of a woman toasting bread on a mosquito racket has surfaced online. In the clip, the woman is seen sitting on a bed with the racket. A few seconds later, she is toating bread slices on it. Wait, there is more. Towards the end of the clip, the woman is relishing the bread toast. At the time of sharing the video, she wrote, “Bread sekne ki new technique (a new technique to toast bread).”
The video became a hit on social media. A user wrote, “Roasted bread with macchar.” Another commented, “Bread with machar sandwich.”
A person added, “Idea PG mein rehne waalon ke bohot kaam aega [This idea will be useful for people living as paying guests].”
Some have named the dish as “macchar toast.”
Meanwhile, a few claimed that the video was edited. A person added, “Ye to bahut galat hai isse to mosquito marte hai isme khana bad habit. ”
“This looks so unhygienic,” a comment read.
Of course, there was a “Ninja technique” reference in the comments.
