In yet another case, the Royal Guard horse bit a tourist’s hand, who later collapsed outside the Household Cavalry Museum in central London this weekend. Tourists worldwide are quite fascinated and intrigued by the King’s Guard, also known as the Queen’s Guard. The group consists of Grenadier Guards, Coldstream Guards, Scots Guards, Irish Guards and Welsh Guards.
On Sunday, July 21, a woman got herself photographed with a soldier and his horse outside the Museum. Such photography has become very common and it has been noticed that the horse often fidgets and rebukes tourist who comes too close to it.
A young lady, dressed in an oversized Pink Floyd T-shirt, sunglasses and a baseball hat stood beside the Royal Guard Horse. As she posed for the photograph, she got a bit too close to the horse. All of a sudden, the horse turned towards her and bit her arms. Ironically, the incident occurred right below the warning sign, “Beware. The Horses may kick or bite." A sign also read, “Don’t touch the reigns".
The now-viral video showed the woman shouting in pain as she quickly moved away from the animal before inspecting her wounds. The camera then turned towards the crowd and how others now posed near the house by maintaining caution. Suddenly, the camera panned back to her and showed the woman had collapsed to the ground after being injured.
This is not the first time that the horse has done this. Previously, it attempted to bite and kick several tourists. In an old video, yet another tourist was bitten by a King’s Guard horse in the United Kingdom after she touched the horse’s neck while posing for a photo in Westminster, Central London. But the horse suddenly turned its neck and snapped at her body. It left her gasping in shock and she stumbled backwards in fear and almost fell over before she quickly pulled herself together. The incident went viral online.
