A spooky British family has adopted their very own haunted doll. JP Kenny, 34, and Kymmi Jeffrey, 38, and their children Snow and Pebble have decided to welcome a new member to their family: Annie, one of the most wanted dolls in the UK.
The Cheshire family were contacted by her owner to take in the doll and knew they would be just the right group for them due to their love of ghosts and spirits. Kymmi said, “We had met her a few times before. The first time it was JP and I, and when I went to pick her up, she was growling.
“The second time we took the girls, she was very active, and both Snow and Pebble fell in love with her”, she added.
Since bringing her home, the family reports experiencing incredibly odd activity throughout the house, such as living room doors slamming, star-shaped beings appearing, and a generally negative feeling about everyone.
The day they picked her up was very emotional for the family. They took Annie on a family trip to the beach, and to adopt her into their family, she stayed at the main house for two weeks. This is how they work with the haunted objects to help them settle in.
“We couldn’t keep Annie in the main house for two weeks. We had a lot of strange and negative events and decided to put them in our occult room after nine days. We still felt a heaviness and the presence of someone who was not happy with us”, he added.
In another similar incident, after being told they couldn’t have children, a couple from Oxford, England, are instead raising three lifeless plastic dolls as part of their family.
Jane Berry, 39, learned in her mid-20s that she was already pre-menopausal, which left her infertile and gave her osteoporosis and arthritis.
Rather than feeling infertile and alone, Berry and her husband, 51-year-old Peter Marflee, decided to start a happy family of their own by “adopting” three dolls. The couple named their little girls Amy, Ashley and Chloe.
