People living in Mumbai are quite accustomed to local trains, and it seems a stray dog in the city is also familiarising itself with the mode of transport now. Yes, you read it right. A stray dog has become a passenger on the local train, capturing the attention of Mumbai residents and social media users alike. A viral video of the dog’s journey has created a wave of wonder and appreciation.
The viral clip, posted by an Instagram user, shows the dog calmly boarding a local train along with other passengers. The train was en route from Kharghar to CBD Belapur. The video begins with the dog getting on the train, finding a comfortable seat for itself amid the crowd. As the train goes along, the dog can be seen taking in the scenery outside, appearing peaceful and unconcerned about its surroundings. When the train comes to its final stop, the dog gets off effortlessly. The user who shared the clip narrated the entire incident.

A user who seems to know this dog shared, “I use to go to college in Kharghar so this dog is a permanent resident at Kharghar station and I am talking about for the past 8 years…Seeing him in this reel made me emotional I got to witness his every day journey.”

A user stated, ‘I was holding my breath when he sat next to the door..was worried someone would kick him out,” while another said, “I am so relieved that no one throws him out..trust me nowadays every time I see cruelty cases against these innocent lives..I feel ashamed of being human.”
