Recently, a new type of coffee has become quite popular in China. It is called Spicy Latte. This coffee, as the name suggests, has a spicy flavour to it.

Spicy Latte tastes a lot like pickles. According to reports, the coffee is served at the Jingshi Coffee Café in the Jiangxi Province of China. The cafe launched this special chilli-flavoured coffee in December last year. It has been found that people from this area enjoy having a lot of spicy food. So, the owners of the cafe introduced a spicy-flavoured coffee. In this, chopped chilies and hot pepper powder are added to cold coffee along with ice. Although it is slightly sweet, the spices and chilies together make it so spicy that it gives a strong buzz to the head.

The price of this new-flavour coffee has been kept at US $2.80, that is, Rs 232 in Indian currency. People have had different experiences while drinking it. Some people said that its taste is strange but good, while some customers said that they would drink it instead of alcohol as it gives them a buzz with a slight taste of spiciness. The interesting thing is that people are liking it so much that 300 cups are easily sold in a day. This is not a new invention in China. Last year, another coffee that received a lot of limelight was the one that was made using eggs and vinegar.
