Shocking Video Shows Man Defecating In Trash Bin On Busy New York Street
A recent video, shared by a local NYC resident, captures an unidentified person openly defecating on a busy street in broad daylight.

In the eyes of many living outside the US, the country is seen as a land of advanced technology and clean streets. However, the rise of social media has shed light on the lesser known aspects of American cities and a recent video brought attention to a darker reality of New York City. The video, shared by a local NYC resident, captures an unidentified person openly defecating on a busy street in broad daylight. Instead of going to a public restroom, the man chose a garbage can as an unconventional restroom. Situated under the Fifth Avenue street sign on 43rd street in Manhattan, the individual, wearing orange trousers and blue jacket, is seen using toilet paper for personal hygiene.

The man who recorded the video could be heard saying, “Look at this piece of s**t, this is in Fifth avenue and 43rd street bro. He just climbed up on that fu***ng garbage can, pulled his pants down and he’s taking a s**t. This is fu***ng incredible. Dude this is crazy, this city is into some s**t man.” The video has sparked a range of reactions on social media, some expressed disgust, while others respected the man for at least using a bin instead of the side street.

Since the video was shared on X, it has gone viral and garnered over 1 lakh views.

In response to the video, one user humorously suggested that doing it in a bin was at least the suitable option.

Another appreciated the man for choosing a garbage bin instead of the street and considered it as progress in the right direction.

“Ewwww USA sucks,” a comment read.

While an individual called it a wonderful sight, the user sarcastically credited the situation to immigrants in New York.

One more felt it was wrong but pointed out the lack of public restrooms which costs a lot.

Meanwhile, a shocking report by Environment America in 2023 revealed a concerning reality about New York’s beaches. More than half of the state’s beaches tested in 2022, had fecal infection at unsafe levels. The pollution came from a variety of sources, including human and animal waste discharged into the ocean through sewage, as well as from factories, farms and industrial livestock operations. Figures from the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene indicated only Wolfe’s Pond Park on Staten Island was closed in 2022 due to poor water quality.
