Shaadi.com founder Anupam Mittal has shared his take on the Lok Sabha Elections Results 2024. The counting of votes for the seven-phase election took place on June 4, Tuesday. The Shark Tank India judge, on X (formerly Twitter), wrote, “Wow, what a mandate – especially UP. That’s why they say ‘Never underestimate the power of the common man’ Now, all eyes are on BJP’s internal power dynamics & NDA politics. Picture abhi baaki hai.” Mittal’s post has collected more than 40k views on the social media platform.

A user wrote, “The next 72 hours will be quite exciting Anupam Ji [Mr Anupam Mittal, the next 72 hours are going to be really exciting].”

“That’s why UP plays an important role in politics,” another said.

A person added, “Bilkul sahi kaha, Mittel ji. [You are absolutely right.] ”

Lok Sabha Election Results 2024:

The NDA has secured 292 seats while the INDIA bloc’s tally stands at 234 seats. The Congress, which is part of the opposition INDIA bloc, won 99 seats compared to 52 it won in 2019.

Whereas, the Samajwadi Party – also part of INDIA bloc — won 37 seats in Uttar Pradesh. In West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress secured 29 seats, which is higher than its 2019 tally of 22.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold his last cabinet meeting of the outgoing government at his residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg at noon.

PM Modi, after the results were announced, addressed the party workers at the headquarters in New Delhi. He said, “The country voted for a change in 2014 when corruption and scams were making headlines. The country gave a resounding victory in 2019. In 2024, with this guarantee, we went to the people. I thank people for their blessings to NDA.”

He added, “People have placed their faith in NDA, for a third consecutive time! This is a historic feat in India’s history. I bow to the Janata Janardan for this affection and assure them that we will continue the good work done in the last decade to keep fulfilling the aspirations of people.”
