Seagull Attacks UK Pensioner Outside Supermarket, Steals A Block Of Cheese
The man saw the seagull with the cheese "in its beak" cracking open the packet and taking a piece.

An old man was left shocked when he was attacked by a psycho gull that tried to steal his block of cheese. Frank Jordan, 71, was rolling his shopping trolley out of the supermarket when the aggressive bird swooped down to grab his cheddar cheese. The next thing he saw was the seagull with the cheese “in its beak” cracking open the packet and taking a piece.

But the lucky pensioner was able to fend off the antisocial bird. Frank said, “I left the store with my trolley which contained a piece of cheese.” Terrified Frank took his purchases back to the store in Rhyl, North Wales, to alert staff and warn them about the “terrifying” seagulls. But despite his ordeal, he was disappointed that bosses did not offer him any support or even a replacement cheese.

He added, “I was badly shaken by my battle with the seagull and it would have been nice to have been offered a drink and a seat as well as a replacement block of cheese. I don’t know if I’m the first person to be attacked in this way, it was frightening.” Frank further said that he had seen seagulls pouncing on other customers and the store should put up signs warning about the badly behaved birds.

A spokeswoman for Sainsbury’s said, “We are sorry that one of our troublesome neighbours stole food from a customer outside our Rhyl branch. We have asked the customer to come back so we can replace the stolen item.”

The nation is plagued by psycho gulls vying to be Britain’s toughest aerial threat. Liverpool residents are being terrorised by the ‘XL Gullies Gang’, a flying troop led by ‘Bugsy Seagull’, named after US mafioso Siegel.

Tyrants looking to get to the top of the pecking order are causing a stir across the country, from Essex, Norfolk and Scarborough to Sheffield and up to Scotland. The residents of the town of Beccles in the Broads of Suffolk and Norfolk are being harassed by a seagull so terrifying that it has been named “Steven Seagull” after the tough Hollywood star and martial arts expert.
