There is little doubt that milkshakes are some of the most loved comfort foods in the world. Larry Canam, a 69-year-old ex-military man who lives in Fredericton, has created a massive following for himself thanks to his great demeanour and milkshake recipes. He is popularly known as Milkshake Man. Now a video of him preparing a glass of a chocolate cake milkshake is raking in likes. In the video, Larry Canam starts by shaving some dark chocolate. He then puts a milkshake glass in the fridge to chill and goes on to prepare chocolate milk by adding chocolate syrup in milk.
Next, he adds a large slice of chocolate cake, three scoops of chocolate ice cream, chocolate milk, and some chocolate syrup into a blender. After mixing this up, he adds the portion to the chilled glass. He tops the shake with homemade whipped cream and tops it off with ice cream.

An Instagram user wrote, “I want him to have his own lil milkshake shop in NYC where I would have my weekly milkshake talking to this man.” Someone else commented, “I used to work at an ice cream parlour and we used to make that shake. It was called “the heart attack and it was delectable.”
As per CBC News, the blender used by Larry Canam was his wedding present from over 48 years ago. Larry Canam’s son David Canam edits his father’s videos and helps shoot them as well. He told CBC News that he never expected that his father would have such a huge following on TikTok and Instagram. He said, “We never had any idea anybody would watch them, let alone subscribe to see more of them. It came out of nowhere.”
He explained how his father is very responsive to his audience and said, “Anytime somebody suggested making something, a lot of times he’d go out to get the stuff and make it. People seemed to really like that.”
