Encountering a snake can instill fear in many of us. Panic and a sense of dread may overcome some, while others might find themselves frozen in terror, fearing for their lives, anticipating a venomous and potentially deadly strike. However, this man remains an exception to this common reaction. Michael Anthony Holston, also known as Mike Holston, is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League. He is also very well recognised for his love for animals. At present, has successfully etched out a unique space for himself through his captivating Instagram account featuring a gallery filled with an array of images and videos showcasing an assortment of animals, from slithering snakes to giant crocodiles.

However, the most recent addition to Holston’s social media has triggered a significant stir across the internet, captivating viewers and sparking conversations. In a recent post, Holston shared a video documenting his fearless encounter with a colossal Green Anaconda.

Online users were quick to express their amazement and deep respect for Holston’s feat. A user, swept away by the display of courage, lauded Holston saying, “You’re so brave.” Another viewer chimed in with a similar expression of appreciation, stating, “Love the bravery!” Holston’s courage in handling such a giant reptile has left a lasting impression, resonating with many who admire his fearlessness.

However, not every observer approached the video without a hint of caution. A thoughtful comment surfaced, acknowledging the inherent beauty of the creature while emphasising its potential danger: “Beautiful but so dangerous.” Another user, expressing admiration, wrote, “You must really like working with these animals. I couldn’t.”

Over the years, Holston has gained the title of ‘The Real Tarzan’ on the internet, thanks to his profound affection for animals and his remarkable approach to handling them. His fame has grown for his ability to connect with perilous creatures such as tigers, crocodiles, and sharks, seemingly at a distinct and extraordinary frequency, reports Lewishowes, a podcast channel.

As for Holston, he believes that the animals we are scared of share the same feeling of fear as humans do. However, if approached with friendship and love, they mostly do not tend to harm. In Holston’s own words, “When you’re nervous, you’re scared. You can’t trust them. They have a defense in the same way as you. If you were walking down the street and some guy came and he’s like, ‘Hey, what’s up buddy?’ You’re going to be like, ‘Yo bro, I’ll knock you out. I’m going to run away. I’ll call the cops.’ But if someone approaches you and says, ‘Hey, how are you doing?’ and shakes your hand and keeps on moving, you know it’s harmless.”
