Remember Disney’s beloved character Goofy known for his clumsiness and signature laugh? A man dressed like Goofy recently created a stir online after participating in a band of Punjabi artists and leading their bhangra parade in Disneyland Paris. Our favourite Goofy turned into ‘Goofinder Singh’ in the viral video. What was more interesting for onlookers was the fact that neither the artists nor ‘Goofinder’ were donning Punjabi outfits. They instead wore Rajasthani fits and flaunted their Bhangra and dhol skills.
The video was originally posted by a different handle and later re-shared, giving social media users a good belly laugh. The collaboration was well received by viewers who couldn’t stop but praised the unexpected performance.
The post was shared with the caption, “An enthusiastic Goofy was seen leading a band of Punjabi bhangra musicians on a stage at. Disneyland, Paris, France. The video is originally from a few years ago and recently resurfaced online garnering over 1M views.”

Ever since the old video resurfaced, it has been doing rounds on social media grabbing the attention of users. The video has been raking in likes and the internet community took no time in sharing their views about the unique show. Most people found the fusion hilarious and termed it ‘awesome’, while some voiced queries on Bhangra being played for the entrance of Princess Jasmine.
An Instagram user wrote, “Goofinder Singh.” “Goofy + Punjabi Dhol + Rajasthani costume. What a fusion,” a comment read.
A person expressed, “So, this is actually the entrance parade for Princess Jasmine apparently. She’s not even Punjabi and these Disney people just think it’s all the same.” Another mentioned, “What kind of Bhangra is this with Jaisalmer Pagdi and small Dhols and Baghdadi dress.”
An individual noted, “It’s Awesome… mix of everything… cartoon characters Punjabi folk + Rajasthani costumes.” Another said, “Punjabis are not less than anyone.” Adding a tweak of humour, a user joked, “Disneyland Cartoons Dreams Come True.”
Isn’t this one of the most unexpected collaborations we ever thought of?
