Baba Vanga, the blind Bulgarian mystic, has long been known for his alleged ability to predict the future. Despite losing her sight at the age of 12, she unexpectedly developed unique abilities, earning her the nickname, Nostradamus of the Balkans. Vanga’s predictions have gained worldwide attention for being accurate. Over the years, she predicted major events, such as the presidencies of Barack Obama and Donald Trump, tragic 9/11 attacks, Princess Diana’s death, Chernobyl disaster, and even the Brexit outcome. Remarkably, while we’re just in the second month of the year, two predictions seem to have already come true, which include, an economic crisis affecting nations like Japan and the UK, and the development of a cancer vaccine by Russia.
Earlier this week, Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed that scientists are on the verge of a major breakthrough in cancer treatment. During a Moscow conference on future technologies, Putin spoke about advancements that include the development of cancer vaccines and new drugs designed to boost the immune system. Despite the positive announcement, specific details about the types of cancer these vaccines would cure are yet to be disclosed.
Speaking about the same, Putin had said, “We have come very close to the creation of so-called cancer vaccines and immunomodulatory drugs of a new generation. I hope that soon they will be effectively used as methods of individual therapy.”
On the other hand, Baba Vanga had also expected an economic crisis in major countries like Japan and the UK. The country, led by Fumio Kishida, has reportedly lost its position as the world’s third largest economy to Germany, facing challenges such as high inflation, a weak currency and rising food prices, leading to unexpected economic setbacks. Similarly, the UK has also entered a recession, due to high inflation and a growing cost of living, which is contributing to contraction in the country’s GDP.
Apart from medical advancements and recession, Baba Vanga has also made some chilling predictions for 2024, which include assassination of President Vladimir Putin, terrorism in Europe, climate disasters, cyber-attacks, advancements in quantum computing and rise of artificial intelligence.
Just like Vanga, Nostradamus, a French astrologer from the 16th century, also made predictions about natural disasters in 2024 in his book, Les Prophecies. To everyone’s surprise, one of these predictions seemed to come true shortly after people worldwide welcomed the New Year. On New Year’s Day, a powerful 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Japanese regions of Ishikawa and Noto, resulting in a tragic toll of numerous lives and displaced thousands of families.
