Sometimes the game of cricket can be way more unpredictable than you can assume it to be. A few days ago, the USA cricket team, which will make its T20I World Cup debut this year on home soil, crushed a side like Bangladesh in a bilateral series. It was a three-match assignment where the Americans won the first two games to register a 2-1 win. There are many such instances like this which will leave fans scratching their heads. Recently, an X account named House of Cricket came up with an interesting post, asking its followers to share some unbelievable cricket stats.

The stat, however, was not entirely correct as Ponting won Test matches in India as a player but “not as the captain” of the Australian cricket team. Ponting led the Aussies in 77 Tests and won 48 of them. Under his leadership, Australia played seven Tests in India. They lost five of them while the remaining two ended in a draw.

Despite not winning the Indian Premier League (IPL) title ever, RCB is the third-most consistent team to qualify for the playoffs after five-time champions – Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. The Bengaluru-based side has qualified for the IPL playoffs 9 times while CSK and MI have done it 12 and 10 times respectively.
