Shark Tank India is a business reality television series that airs on Sony Entertainment Television. The show is an Indian adaptation of the popular American show Shark Tank. It depicts entrepreneurs giving business presentations to a panel of investors, or sharks, who determine whether or not to invest in their venture. Shark Tank India Season 1 premiered on December 20, 2021, and aired until February 4, 2022. The second season aired from January 2 to March 10 this year.

Registration for season 3 opened in June this year. Interested entrepreneurs had to fill out an online application on the Sony Liv App with a description of their business idea, outlining its uniqueness and potential. The requirements to apply were that the entrepreneurs must be Indian citizens and over the age of 18. The application process had a few more rounds where they had to submit a video pitch and eventually qualify for a couple of rounds before being selected for the show. Notably, the investment offer would be made only based on the final pitch.
