Rubina Dilaik is currently reveling in the bliss of motherhood after welcoming twin daughters, Jeeva and Edhaa, with her husband Abhinav Shukla. The actress remained highly active on social media, ensuring to share her journey and experiences during pregnancy with her fans through vlogs and her podcast, The Mamacado Show. Recently, she released another video showcasing her healthy diet and the foods that kept her energised during this precious time.
Breakfast
Starting her day on a wholesome note, her breakfast spread featured a delightful array of nutritious foods. She indulged in avocado, tomatoes, and scrambled eggs, accompanied by a scrumptious pesto sandwich. To top it off, she enjoyed a sugar-free protein shake made with milk, almonds, sunflower seeds, watermelon seeds, and pumpkin seeds. Notably, Rubina made sure to mention that her protein shakes were sugar-free, adhering to the recommended guidelines for a healthy pregnancy diet.
Homemade Spaghetti by Abhinav Shukla
Once, Abhinav Shukla surprised Rubina by cooking spaghetti at home and even made the sauce himself. At one point, Abhinav can be heard jokingly saying, “chipki hui noodles," and Rubina responds, “Chalta hai wo, apan Italians nahi Indians hai."
Mexican cuisine and seasonal fruit
The vlog also captured the 36-year-old actress indulging in Mexican cuisine, savoring dishes like tacos at a local restaurant. Additionally, Rubina emphasised the importance of incorporating seasonal fruits into her diet as they are not only fresh but also provide excellent energy when consumed. She could be seen relishing the sweetness of a custard apple (Sharifa).
Parsi Breakfast
The Shakti actress once again shared her breakfast routine and offered a glimpse of her Indian morning feast, which featured tea made with almond milk. Alongside, she enjoyed parathas made from roasted gram, taro (Arbi), and Parsi fereni, a traditional dessert made in ghee without sugar.
Lunch with Green Chilli
For lunch, Rubina savored a homemade meal consisting of rotis, accompanied by refreshing chaas (buttermilk), drumstick vegetables, green chili, and dal.
Homemade Butter
After her meal, Rubina shared homemade butter made by her mother in milk. She enjoys it with freshly made parathas.
Mom Special Ladoos
Lastly, she concluded the video by capturing her mother preparing Panjiri ladoos, (made from dry fruits) for her to enjoy during her pregnancy days.
Rubina and Abhinav tied the knot on June 21, 2018, and nearly five years later, embraced parenthood with the arrival of their twin daughters on November 27, 2023.
