Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon have been rumoured to be dating each other. A source earlier confirmed to News 18 that the duo fell in love with each other on sets of Barsatein and have been going strong ever since. The insider also shared that the two actors are “serious” about each other. Now, Kushal Tandon has come out, reflecting on his love life and marriage plans.
When asked about his plans to take the relationship to the next level, Kushal Tandon told ETimes, “I am not getting married right now but I am definitely in love. We are taking it very slow. My mother desperately wants to see me married and unka bas chale toh meri shaadi aaj hi karwa dein. And waise dekha jaye toh kuch bhi ho sakta hai, kabhi bhi. But the best part is that the search for a suitable girl for me by my parents has stopped now.”
Kushal Tandon’s last show Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka ended in February this year. Now, he is yet to be seen in a new project. Speaking about the same, he said, “After my show Barsatein got over, I was giving a lot of time to myself – working on my physical health and my fitness. But now I will be picking up something. I have offers for web shows and TV both, so let’s see.”
Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon’s chemistry in Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka made them a fan favourite. Produced by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms, the show premiered in July 2023. It went off-air earlier this year.
Shivangi Joshi was previously rumoured to be dating Randeep Rai. The duo worked together in Balika Vadhu 2. Later, in December 2022, the actress dismissed speculations around their relationship adding that they are just friends.
On the other hand, Kushal Tandon’s love affair with former girlfriend Gauahar Khan is public knowledge. The duo entered the Bigg Boss 7 house together and started dating each other. Gauahar clinched the title of winner of Salman Khan’s show. They were also seen together in a music video titled Zaroori Tha. After a year of dating, the duo parted ways in 2014, announcing their separation on social media. Now, Gauahar is married to Zaid Darbar.
