Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai started airing on Sony Entertainment Television a few months ago with a unique concept surrounding the dowry system. The show stars Meera Deosthale and Zaan Khan in prominent roles. As per the current storyline of the daily soap, a grand wedding sequence was shot. The cast was styled in opulent costumes and traditional jewellery to keep the cultural aspect alive. As per a report by Filmibeat, Meera Deosthale’s ensemble for the wedding sequence in Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai is an ideal blend of tradition and elegance weighing about 35 kg and is a sight to behold. It consisted of a gorgeous planetary lehenga embellished with intricate embroidery that exudes a traditional charm. An exquisite Gad Cholo, a red dupatta embellished with elaborate gold embroidery, adds to the protagonist’s majestic look. Other details of the bridal look add to its regal attractiveness.

Sharing her experience of wearing lavish attire and shooting the grand sequence, Meera Deosthale mentioned, “Being Gujarati, it was a special feeling. To shoot this massive sequence, I wore this masterpiece for 20–25 days, but the weight of the lehenga was too much along with the jewellery was 35 kg! Walking in it was impossible; sometimes I couldn’t even move but despite the challenges, it was an interesting experience. Now, I feel when the time comes for my wedding, I will just wear a simple dress and get married,” as quoted by The Tribune.
