Notably, actress Sumona Chakravarti recently participated in the puja celebrations and delighted the attendees with her unique dance style following the aarti. She showcased her skills by performing the traditional dhunuchi dance, all the while elegantly clad in a saree.

In the initial snapshot, the actress posed before the statue of Maa Durga. She exuded elegance in a beige salwar suit, complemented by a pink dupatta. In the accompanying caption, she stated, “Day 1 Shubho Shosti. Hair, make-up, styling – I, me, myself. Clothes are my personal.”

Her journey with Kapil Sharma began on Comedy Nights with Kapil from June 2013 to January 2016. She played the role of Sarla Gulati. Her collaboration with The Kapil Sharma Show brought her immense fame and recognition. She gained fame through her versatile portrayals of various characters on the comedy show. In The Kapil Sharma Show season 3, she played a pivotal role as Manju, Kapil Sharma’s on-screen wife.
