New Delhi: With a recent focus on including more moving images or videos on the site, Facebook’s photo-sharing app Moments has also received a new update.

Moments now automatically creates a photo montage with music using the pictures you share through the app.

The app uses face recognition to suggest tags and lets you sync the photos with your Facebook friends. With the new feature, it offers the same functionality as Flipagram and creates videos.

While there are other apps available to create video stories out of your photos, with the new feature in Moments you have the advantage is that the app is already synced with Facebook. This saves you from additionally syncing your Facebook account to share any collage or video.

The new feature offers 10 music themes and creates collage with selected photos. While it does offer you to edit the video by swapping photos or change background music, it does not allow you to edit the photo within the app or add filters, The Verge reports.

Another disadvantage of the feature is that it doesn’t allow you to share at any medium other than Facebook. So you can’t share the video through email or on Twitter.

Facebook has further added new features to Moments, including the option to create your own Moments from scratch, see the progress of your photo uploads, and use the app in 34 different languages.
