Miss India 2018 runner-up and actor Meenakshi Chaudhary’s career is going great guns as she entered the year 2024 with the release of Trivikram Srinivas’ Guntur Kaaram. The film, headlined by Mahesh Babu, released on January 12. Besides, she has a great line-up of films in Tamil and Telugu. While the film Guntur Kaaram earned mixed reviews and Mahesh Babu managed to steal hearts with his performance yet again, fans of Meenakshi Chaudhary have expressed disappointment for all the right reasons.
Meenakshi Chaudhary played the second female lead in Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram. While her fans expected her to play a significant role in the film, there is hardly any scene of her with proper dialogue in Guntur Kaaram. Given her less screen time in the film, Meenakshi’s fans are upset. Contrary to the expectations of her fans, the makers did not portray her in a prominent role.
Recently, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Meenakshi spoke about her film Guntur Kaaram. Calling the film a treat, the actress elaborated, “Both Mahesh and Trivikram are so celebrated, I think this film will be a treat for their fans. Working with them was at the top of my wishlist, and the experience was everything I had imagined. I hope I get the chance to work with them both again.”
Meenakshi, talking about Mahesh, “I was so nervous on day one. She added, “I am such a fan girl. I was so dazed, that I couldn’t take my eyes off him. I was star-struck but he was very understanding.”
Meenakshi has a huge lineup of films in her kitty. She will be seen in Lucky Bhaskar alongside Dulquer Salman. Meanwhile, she is currently shooting for Thalapathy Vijay’s GOAT. The film, directed by Venkat Prabhu, will be released in theatres this year. In addition to that, the actress will also be entertaining the masses with Matka, headlined by Varun Tej. Meenakshi also has an untitled film with Vishwak Sen.
