Prabhas-starrer Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire has been generating significant buzz since its announcement. There has been a lot of hype about the project, and the excitement reached new heights with the release of the second trailer, titled The Final Punch. The action-packed trailer provides a glimpse into the intense and thrilling world of Salaar, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the emotional action drama on the big screen. The film is directed by KGF famous Prashanth Neel and will hit theatres on December 22. There has been so much hype about the film, that the tickets have been sold out in many theatres in South India. It has also been reported that some states have even increased ticket prices.

Usually, the first-week ticket prices of big-budget films are high in most states. According to reports, a similar situation is happening with Prabhas’ Salaar, as it has been found that the Andhra-Telangana government has also given permission to increase the Salaar ticket price. Reportedly, Rs 65 have been increased for single-screen tickets and Rs 100 have been increased for multiplex tickets in Telangana. These increased ticket prices will be valid only for the first week, from December 22 to December 28. The ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh have also increased by Rs 40. It has also been reported that some theatres have also been allowed for the 1 am show, giving more opportunities to increase collections.

As the advance booking of Salaar has been going on in full swing, it was reported that the popular online ticket booking platform, Book My Show India, crashed while many people were trying to book their tickets for the highly-anticipated films. Many users shared pictures of the same on social media, showing that the server of the platform went down, causing a major hindrance to booking the tickets.

The craze for Salaar is not just limited to Karnataka. There have been reports that there was a huge crowd outside theatres in Hyderabad for advance bookings. The film is also receiving a tremendous response from North India.

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire will clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. Even though Dunki is releasing a day before Salaar, ie December 21, the competition is quite high.
