Chennai 600028 Fame Child Actor Viraj Is The Cousin of This Tamil Superstar

Tamil actor Viraj is known for films like Uyirile Kalanthathu, Anniyin and Chennai 600028. He is said to be a relative of one of the biggest actors in the country. Do you know who that is? If not, then let us reveal it to you. Viraj, also known as Hari Prashanth, is a Tamilian actor. According to reports, he is the first cousin of one of the biggest Indian celebrities, Thalapathy Vijay. Viraj’s father – renowned singer and dubbing artist, SN Surendar – is the brother of Shobha Chandrasekhar, a vocalist, who happens to be the mother of Thalapathy Vijay. Viraj entered the film industry as a child artiste, with the film Uyirile Kalanthathu, in 2000. Directed by KR Jaya, the film also stars Suriya, Jyothika and Raghuvaran. Then, he was seen in the film Anniyan, which was released in 2005. It also starred Vikram and Sadha as the protagonists.

After that, Viraj appeared in the Venkat Prabhu-directorial Chennai 600028, in which he played the role of a young street cricketer. The film was released in 2007. He was also seen in the sequel to the film titled Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings, which was released in 2016. In January 2014, Viraj announced his intentions of appearing as the lead actor and began working on a film titled Mozhivathu Yathenil, but the film did not have a theatrical release.

In most of his early films like, Uyirile Kalanthathu, Unnai Ninaithu, Thithikudhe, Unnai Charanadaindhen, and Anniyan, he has appeared as a child artist.

Coming back to Thalapathy Vijay, he gave one of the biggest hits in the year 2023 with the film Leo. Now, he is gearing up for the release of his next titled GOAT (Greatest of All Time). The film is directed by Venkat Prabhu. It stars an ensemble cast of Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren, Laila, Ajmal Ameer, Aravind Akash, Ajay Raj and others. Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh are producing the film under the banner of AGS Entertainment. The music in the film is being handled by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
