New Delhi: The long drawn-out drama constantly moving from Jaipur to New Delhi in choosing the Rajasthan chief minister has now piqued interest further up in the North.
As Pradesh Congress Committee president Sachin Pilot and AICC General Secretary Ashok Gehlot held deliberations with the Congress high command in the national capital, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference leader Omar Abdullah is just as eager to know who will be the CM in Rajasthan.
The former J&K Chief Minister had a word of advice for the Congress party. “It will get more & more difficult the longer this takes,” Abdullah tweeted.

Considering the dilly-dallying and delay over the decision and the unrest among supporters of both Pilot and Gehlot, Abdullah might have a point.
He also might have a favourite in the race. On first look, Abdullah’s tweet is a political comment; on second, it could be interpreted as a family concern.
Abdullah’s sister Sara is married to Rajasthan Congress president and CM hopeful Sachin.
As soon as Abdullah tweeted, his replies were full of comments on the family bond. With one person tweeting “ask your brother in law to aim for pm post directly (sic)”.
Pilot and Gehlot met Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on Thursday as the quest for Rajasthan CM entered its second day.
As the waiting cadres don't seem to be taking the slow nature of things very kindly, both Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot had to appeal to them to maintain calm.
“I request all workers to maintain peace and order. I have complete trust in party high command. I will welcome any decision taken by Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi. We are all dedicated to Congress and it is our responsibility to uphold the party’s pride,” Pilot tweeted to his supporters.

Within minutes of his tweeting, Abdullah retweeted his appeal as well.
