129. Soorsagar is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Jodhpur Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Soorsagar falls in Jodhpur district and West region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a urban seat.
There are a total of 2,62,359 voters in the seat, which includes 1,37,496 male voters, and 1,24,863 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Soorsagar recorded a voter turnout of %. In 2013 the turnout was 68.53%, and in 2008 it was 52.5%.
In 2013, Suryakanta Vyas of BJP won the seat by a margin of 20,745 votes (13.78%). Suryakanta Vyas secured 52.2% of the total votes polled.
