Shatrughan Sinha claims Bihar BJP leaders were shocked to see the voter turnout in first two phases

Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Patna Sahib MP Shatrughan Sinha has once again launched a diatribe against his party. Sinha, a popular Bollywood star and known as Bihari Babu, claimed that Bihar BJP leaders were in a state of shock to see the voter turnout in the first two phases.

In an exclusive interview to News18.com, Sinha said, "Bihari babu is always number one in Bihar, but in the list of star campaigners my name is in the last. I have no information about campaign strategy. "

Even as he continues to target the BJP leadership, Sinha claimed that he was not against the party. "I have always talked in favour of party," he added.

Sinha later blamed the party leaders in Bihar for "cancellation" of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rallies. He also took potshot at the Prime Minister for the last minute "cancellation". "A situation that led our star campaigner PM to cancel his Bihar rallies at the last minute...sending a negative message???" Sinha tweeted.

On Friday, he had expressed concern over the spiralling price of pulses and asked the Centre to take urgent steps to contain it. "Dal prices touch Rs 200. Urgent steps required by Centre to contain this! We have seen the tears that onion prices have brought in the past," Sinha had said.
