156. Salumber is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Udaipur (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Salumber falls in Udaipur district and South region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,62,608 voters in the seat, which includes 1,35,023 male voters, and 1,27,585 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Salumber recorded a voter turnout of 69.08%. In 2013 the turnout was 69.79%, and in 2008 it was 62.4%.
In 2013, Amrit Lal of BJP won the seat by a margin of 36,651 votes (22.47%). Amrit Lal secured 56.36% of the total votes polled.
