101. Panagar is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Jabalpur Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Panagar falls in Jabalpur district and Mahakoshal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,42,444 voters in the seat, which includes 1,27,004 male voters, and 1,15,427 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Panagar recorded a voter turnout of 75.08%. In 2013 the turnout was 69.95%, and in 2008 it was 65.86%.

BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 15,120 votes (13.59%), registering 37.27% of the total votes polled.
