Bangalore: The Karnataka High Court will hear the bail pleas of former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa in the land denotification scam on Friday.
The court will also hear the bail plea of his former cabinet colleague Katta Subramanya Naidu on Friday in connection with the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board scam.
Yeddyurappa spent Diwali in jail after he withdrew his interim bail plea on Monday.
The Lokayukta court, hearing the case against Yeddyurappa, had extended his judicial custody till November 3.
Yeddyurappa was arrested on October 15 after a special Lokayukta court charged him in alleged irregularities in denotifying government land.
However, Yeddyurappa was shifted to a hospital on October 16 citing chest pains. He returned to jail on Wednesday after getting discharged from the hospital on Tuesday only to get admitted in another hospital the very same evening.
The state government will also meet to discuss the action report on illegal mining.
