Lucknow: The Election Commission on Wednesday transferred five IAS and eight IPS officers, including the District Magistrate of Ghaziabad.
"DM Ghaziabad S P L Sushil has been replaced by Aparna U, while M K S Sundaram has been posted as DM Hardoi in place of A K S Rathore, who retires on January 31," chief electoral officer Umesh Sinha told reporters.
He said Rajesh Kumar was posted in place of V K Tripathi as DM Chandauli.
DM Lalitpur C P Tiwari has been replaced by Vijendra Pandeyan and DM Pratapgarh Ranjan Kumar by M Devraj.
According to Sinha, P K Mishra has been posted as DIG Basti range in place of Gyan Singh and DIG/SSP Moradabad N K Srivastava has been replaced by Amitabh Yash.
Among district police chiefs, A K Raghav has been posted as SP Bahraich, Upendra Agarwal as SP Jaunpur, Dharmendra Singh as SP Sant Kabir Nagar, Sachi Ghildiyal as SP Rant Ravidas Nagar, Prashant Kumar II as SP Unnao and Rakesh Pradhan as SP Etah.
The EC has asked the chief secretary to submit the compliance report by Thursday.
Earlier on Saturday, the EC ordered removal of DGP Brij Lal and Principal Secretary (Home) Kunwar Fateh Bahadur and posted Atul and Manjit Singh in their places respectively.
