Riding an open top jeep, the 43-year-old AAP leader exchanged pleasantries with the people who had turned out in large numbers as he travelled through areas like Khichripur, Kalyan Puri and Mayur Vihar.

"I salute your spirit and courage for supporting honest politics," he tweeted thanking voters for bestowing him with "love and respect".

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has been unwell for the last five days, stayed put at his residence where he met Sisodia, Kumar Vishwas and some other leaders.

While Transport Minister Gopal Rai also took out a road show, Sandeep Kumar and Jitender Singh Tomar preferred the door-to-door mode to reach out to the people.
