BJP MP met Sonia Gandhi to fix me, reveals Arun Jaitley
Azad was quick to hit back at Jaitley and called allegations baseless. "It is best to keep quiet. If one is pointing a finger at me, they should realise four are pointing at them."

New Delhi: There is no end to infighting in the Bharatiya Janata Party as Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that a party MP met Congress President Sonia Gandhi and said that they will fix him.

Without naming Bihar MP Kirti Azad, Jaitley in an interview to Times of India said, "One member of Parliament wrote to the Congress government. He met Sonia Gandhi and they said we will fix Jaitley. So they referred the case to the Serious Frauds Office. In 2013, the SFIO gave a report saying there are procedural irregularities in the company, no case of fraud is made out. The whole issue ended, but it has become a political controversy now."

Azad was quick to hit back at Jaitley and called allegations baseless. "It is best to keep quiet. If one is pointing a finger at me, they should realise four are pointing at them. Winston Churchill said "It is best to be quiet and thought to be a fool than to open your mouth and prove it"."

Defying party's stand, Kirti Azad threatened to expose corruption in the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) at a press conference on Sunday. The MP from Bihar also appeared to be taking a dig at Jaitley over his reported description of him as a "Trojan horse".

"Not a Trojan horse but Achilles heel; wait till I unmask the 'behroopiya' (impostor)," Azad said in a tweet.

"Today evening, I will make a big expose on the DDCA at the Press Club at 4 PM. I will talk about the ways in which corruption has been carried out.

"WikiLeaks for India has done a very good sting operation. We will show audio-visuals of the companies which have no proper details, whose people there is no info on, the bank accounts of which we have no details on," said Azad

The remarks came even after the party President Amit Shah pulled up Kirti Azad and asked him not to issue any more statements on the ongoing DDCA controversy.

The attack has also come at a time when the Aam Admi Party has raked up the DDCA issue to target the BJP after the CBI raids on Delhi Chief Arvind Kejriwal's principal secretary Rajender Kumar.

In the past, Azad has attacked Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over corruption in DDCA when Jaitley served as President of the body.

The three-time MP has been a known detractor of Jaitley over his stewardship of DDCA.
