Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot On Friday slammed BJP leader Vasundhara Raje for attacking him over CBI action against Gulab Chand Kataria and reportedly saying that "we are not wearing bangles". "Bangle is a symbol of women's dignity and use of such a language shows that she has lost self control and insulted women," Gehlot said in a statement in Jaipur.
Raje made the comment on Thursday while alleging that Kataria was "falsely implicated" in Sohrabuddin encounter case by the CBI "at the behest" of the Chief Minister. Gehlot sought apology from Raje for her comment.
"Raje is using such threatening words over the action by CBI and it proves that she has no faith in democracy and Constitutional system," he said. "She is repeatedly saying that she is not frightened but
who is scaring her?" he asked.
