25 lakh registered voters in Mumbai

Mumbai: Over 25.90 lakh voters have been registered in the twin Lok Sabha constituencies in Mumbai, a senior official said, on Wednesday.

"Altogether 2,59,0693 voters have been registered in the South Mumbai and South Central Mumbai constituencies,"District Collector I Kundan told reporters.

Over 13,000 polling personnel would be deployed in the two constituencies, the Collector said.

So far, 1,512 banners and cutouts have been removed after the code of conduct came into force with the announcement of election schedule, she said.
