Amid rising cases of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic in the state, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has postponed Class 10, 12 board exams 2021 by nearly a month. The board exams for both classes including compartment, re-appearance, performance enhancement categories, and the open school have also been postponed, the PSEB said in an official statement.
Class 10 and 12 exams scheduled to begin on April 9 and March 22, respectively will now be held from May 4, while Class 12 exams will commence from April 20.
The class 10 exams will be conducted from 10 am to 1:15 pm, whereas the class 12 exam will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm. The board exams will be held at the examination centres set up by the PSEB, which would be announced at the time of issuance of the roll number.
The board has released its revised date sheet on their official website www.pseb.ac.in.

Punjab has reported 1,492 new cases in the last 24 hours, which has taken the tally of active cases in the state close to 11,550. While the total tally of Punjab stands at 1,97,755 and 20 deaths were reported since yesterday from the state. The report further mentioned that the state has reported a sharp rise in weekly cases of 3,149.
