The last date for choice filling and choice locking was Oct 13. The processing of the NEET PG counselling stray vacancy round seat allotment was conducted between October 13 and 14.

“The Choice filling for the Stray Vacancy Round was delayed since many PG DNB Institutes had not reported the candidates online,” MCC had said earlier. Besides, the qualifying percentile for NEET PG 2023 counselling was reduced to ‘zero’ by the health ministry before the round 3 counselling process began. The decision was taken to ensure that no PG medical seat goes vacant. Almost 2000 PG medical seats go vacant this year.
