The Delhi High Court has deferred the online registration date for the Judicial Services Exam 2023. Candidates who are yet to apply can now apply for the recruitment exam by visiting the official website of the Delhi High Court at delhihighcourt.nic.in. As per the official notification, the last date to register for the exam has been extended till November 29. Through this recruitment drive, the Delhi High Court aims to recruit a total of 53 candidates (44 existing and nine anticipated).
The official notification reads, “In continuation of this Court’s Notices dated November 6, 2023 and November 17, 2023, it is hereby notified that the last date and time for Registration and filling Online Application Form of Delhi Judicial Service Examination 2023 and/or making payment through Debit Card/Internet Banking is extended till November 29 (1730 hours).”
In addition to that, the Judicial Services preliminary exam will take place on December 17 from 11 AM to 1:30 PM. The admit cards for the same will be issued on the official website days before the examination date. Candidates who meet the requirements in the preliminary examination will be called for the main exams.
Taking into account the exam pattern, candidates should note that the examination will include objective-type questions, and for each incorrect answer, there will be a 25 per cent negative marking.
Delhi Judicial Service Exam 2023: Steps to Apply
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can follow the steps given below to apply for the recruitment exam.
Step 1: Navigate to the official website of the Delhi High Court at delhihighcourt.nic.in.
Step 2: On the right-hand side of the homepage, search for and click on the corrigendum notice available.
Step 3: As a new window appears, click on the link to apply for ‘Judicial Service Exam’
Step 4: Enter all the required credentials as directed
Step 5: To complete the registration process, upload the essential documents and pay the prescribed exam fee.
Step 6: Verify all the details and submit the application form
Step 7: Keep a printout of the same for further reference.
Candidates belonging to the general category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,500 for the examination at the time of registration. While Rs 400 will be charged from the reserved category [Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Person with Disabilities (identified disabilities) of 40 percent or more] candidates.
