Shah Rukh Khan was seen teasing producer Anand Pandit at his 60th birthday bash. The Dunki star delivered a sweet speech in his honour.

Shah Rukh Khan opened up about his special bond with producer-real estate mogul Anand Pandit at his 60th birthday bash. The actor was seen joining Salman Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan at the bash. In a video from the party shared online, Shah Rukh was seen talking about his closeness with Anand. The Dunki star revealed he and Anand often go out drives together and added that the producer is a spiritual guru to him.

“In the night, at 12-1 am, he comes visits me and we roam around Juhu. He doesn’t tell me, ‘this is my building, that is my building.’ Instead, in the two kilometer drive, he tells me barring two to three buildings, all buildings are his (laughs). Our journey becomes easy,” Shah Rukh said.

“My final relationship with him is he is my spiritual guru. His buildings, under the Lotus Developers, are so high-tech and modern. I was surprised when I saw … Once you get into these buildings, you feel like you’re in New York or London. They are so high-end and still so close to being like home — warm, beautiful and such ammenities,” he added, praising not only Anand but his family members too.

“Since he is a developer, he knows Vaastu well. Every now and then I call him home and tell him, ‘Sir, meri pichli waali picture chali nahi, kuch kar do.’ Anand sir would suggest putting up a mirror (or something auspicious). But fortunately, my movies are working,” Shah Rukh teased him.

The birthday bash marked Shah Rukh’s first public appearance since the release of Dunki. The Rajkumar Hirani directorial was a non-holiday release and witnessed a good opening day at the box office. The film, which marks SRK’s third release of the year, is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and has collected Rs 30 crores at the box office.

However, Dunki could not beat the opening day records set by Shah Rukh previous two 2023 releases, Pathaan and Jawan. Pathaan recorded an opening day collection of Rs 57 crore whereas Jawan collected Rs 74.50 across all languages in India.
