Khichdi 2 Trailer: The Parekh family is back and this time around, they are leaving their homes for ‘Paanthukistan’, a fictional royal city that needs saving. The sequel, officially titled as Khichdi 2 – Mission Paanthukistan, of the hit franchise brings Supriya Pathak Kapoor, Jamnadas Majethia (JD), Rajeev Mehta, Anang Desai, Vandana Pathak, and Kirti Kulhari on the screen for a promising comedy fest.
The trailer revealed that the Parekh family lands in Paanthukistan where they find out that the King of the land is a doppelganger of Praful. Looking at it as an opportunity, the family decides to bring about a change to the village while also making the best for themselves. Praful undergoes a makeover and steps in for the king. It is then that the madness unfolds.
To top it off, the film features a number of cameos. These include Scam 1992 star Pratik Gandhi and director-choreographer Farah Khan.

Khichdi 2 is set to release worldwide on November 17. A Zee Studios world wide release, presented by Hats Off productions, a name synonymous with wholesome family entertainment.
The makers issued a statement a few weeks ago and said, “As the Festival of Lights approaches, Indian cinephiles are in for a treat as the highly anticipated sequel, Khichdi 2-Mission Paanthukistan, gears up to light up the big screen and tickle your funny bone this Diwali. Continuing the legacy of over 2 decades of entertaining India, the iconic Parekh family is set to bring double the laughter and craziness in this fresh cinematic instalment. Born as a stage play, Khichdi is the only Indian sitcom to have evolved as a movie, web series and will now have an adventure comedy sequel."
