Kareena Kapoor Khnan has come a long way in showbiz with rich content driven and commercial films. This year, the actress made her OTT debut with Jaane Jaan. The actress has time and again, reinvented herself in the entertainment space and is also making a constant effort in making a mark in Indian cinema. In a recent interview with Forbes, the actress shared her contemporaries, her generation of actors are doing much better than than the ‘younger lot’.
Heaping praises of Tabu and Rani Mukerji, Kareen shared “All these actors are doing better than even, sorry, but even the younger lot. We’re all raring to go. Age is just a number now and it shouldn’t even be discussed. You’re all not asking the old crop of actors how old they are, so how are we being asked.”
In the same interview, she mentioned, “They are the most talented actors we’ve had in the Indian film industry. Rani is absolutely cinematic in every which way. Whatever role she plays, she just transforms on the screen. You cannot take your eyes off her. Tabu, for that matter, is one of the finest actors again the Indian industry has ever seen. For them, no one’s thinking of age. They’re entertaining the audience. We’re here to entertain. How does age matter?”
Back in 2002, Kareena and Rani shared the screen space together in Mujhse Dosti Karoge. Kareena and Tabu will be working together in their next film The Crew, which also stars Kriti Sanon.
Apart from the Crew, Kareena Kapoor Khan will also be seen in Hansal Mehta’s crime thriller The Buckingham Murders. She also has Rohit Shetty’s action film Singham Again, alongside Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar.
