Hilarious Meme On Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe Leaves The Singham Director In Splits: ‘Who Did This…’

Rohit Shetty’s much talked about cop universe with Singham recently had the newest addition to it’s ever expanding team. Just days after dropping Deepika Padukone’s first look as a police officer for Singham 3, the filmmaker welcomed Tiger Shroff to the team. Now the internet has a hilarous reaction to Rohit Shetty roping in every Bollywood actor for his cop films.

The meme features, Rohit Shetty at a Bollywood party where a little boy is seen asking around ‘Tu Kal Se Police Mein’. ‘Tu Bhi Police Mein’, ‘Tu Bhi’, ‘Tere Peeche Waala Bhi’, ‘Tu Web Series Mein Police Wala’. Rohit has now reshared the meme with a bundle of laughing emojis and wrote, “Who Did This”.

The third film from the Singham franchise titled Singham Again has gone on floors recently and is all set to release in the second half of 2024. As per reports by Pinkvilla, Rohit Shetty hired a team of six writers for his upcoming film. The step to onboard new writers has been taken to ensure that the storyline of Singham Again is captivating enough. The Cop Universe’s next instalment will be written by Shantanu Srivastava (Badhai Ho, Night Manager), Kshitij Patwardhan (Mauli, Faster Fene), Yunus Sajawal (all Rohit Shetty films), Milap Zaveri (Kaante, Shootout at Wadala), Abhijeet Khuman (renowned for Asur), Sandeep and Anusha (working with Rohit for The Indian Police Force). Rohit collaborated with this team to work together on Singham Again. It took them 18 months to come up with the perfect storyline.

Rohit Shetty and his association with the cop world started in 2011 with Singham. It led to Singham Returns in 2014. Then he eventually came up with Simmba in 2018, which kicked off the first instalment of his cop verse.

He has given some of the most successful films over the last 20 years. He is now making the biggest film of his career in the form of Singham Again. For this film, all the protagonists from his cop universe have been roped in to play the lead. Singham Again will feature a huge ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, who will be seen reprising his iconic role of Singham; Ranveer Singh as Simmba, and Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi. Deepika Padukone, and Kareena Kapoor Khan have also been roped in to play the female cop in the film.

Rumoure are rife that Arjun Kapoor will also be joining the star cast of the film. Reportedly, their characters will add an intriguing dynamic to the film. In the upcoming film, the cops will be reportedly seen battling against one common enemy of the country – whose character will be played by Jackie Shroff.

Notably, Singham Again marks the fifth instalment of Rohit Shetty’s successful film Singham, followed by Singham Returns, Simmba and Sooryavanshi.
