Six weeks after Aarthi Agarwal's liposuction surgery, she suffered severe breathing problems. On June 6, 2015, she was declared dead.

Aarthi Agarwal was a Telugu beauty whose performances and looks enthralled the audience. She starred opposite stars and shot to popularity and fame at quite a young age. But did you know that the actress died at the age of just 31? As per reports, she passed away due to cardiac arrest.

Telugu actress Aarthi Agarwal marked her debut in the industry at 16 with the Bollywood film Paagalpan in 2001. In the same year, she starred opposite Venkatesh in her Telugu debut film Nuvvu Naaku Nachav. It became a super hit film at that time. She was one of the few non-Telugu speaking actresses who worked with noted Indian film stars Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, Ravi Teja and Jr NTR.

In 2002, she did another blockbuster hit, Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu, and due to her stellar performance, she was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actress. After consecutive hits, her career declined, with some unexpected flops. She starred in films like Allari Ramudu, Indra, Nee Sneham, Bobby, Palnati Brahmanayudu, Vasantam, Winner, Nenunnanu, Adavi Ramudu and Koduku.

In 2005, as per reports, she attempted suicide when her relationship with a hero failed. Her acting career took a hit. Reportedly, in 2006, she had an accident at home, following which she sustained head injuries and was hospitalised at Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills at Hyderabad and was put on ventilator support. In 2007, she found love again and married a software engineer Tasval Kumar, but the marriage was short-lived as the couple sought divorce in 2009. Meanwhile, she starred in a few other films like Andala Ramudu, Gorintaku, Deepavali and Brahmalokam To Yamalokam Via Bhulokam to name a few.

As per reports, she had gained weight and wanted to get rid of fat. Six weeks after her liposuction surgery, she suffered severe breathing problems. On June 6, 2015, she was declared dead on arrival at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA. Her manager stated that the cause of her death was cardiac arrest. The actress died at the age of 31.
